ASHRIDGE MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT CENTRE, Ashridge, Birkhamsted, Herts.
This large wall-hung textile, measuring 11m x 4m, was commissioned to celebrate the Millennium. Jae worked with her colleague Wendy Dolan over a period of 4 years to complete the work. The Brief was to depict Ashridge's long history, beginning as a monastery in 1293 and to feature the rich neo-gothic architecture and the gardens. Many of Ashridge's administrative staff and lecturing team were involved in the execution of the work.
The completed work was delivered and unveiled in Ashridge's Main Entrance Hall in November 1999.

RED OAKS PRIMARY SCHOOL, Swindon, Wilts.
This exciting commission was completed in June 2007 for Red Oaks Primary School, Swindon. The inspiration for the four panels came from working with the children (aged 6-11) during an extensive Education Programme. This commenced with a movement session led by a dance Tutor and a drawing session led by Jae. The programme continued for several weeks as the children translated their movements and drawings into life-size paper and fabric figures.
